Attorney Profiles

Biographical:

Nate was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  He attended the University of North Dakota, where he studied aviation and business.  After graduating in 2003, Nate started a career as a pilot.  He taught college students how to fly as a flight instructor, and then worked as a first officer at a regional airline.  Nate decided to leave aviation to attend law school because he wanted to help people who were facing challenging problems.

Nate graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2010.  He focused his studies on civil litigation and criminal law.  During law school, Nate had the opportunity to intern as a research assistant to Professor Afsheen John Radsan.  This research involved issues relating to national security law and criminal justice.

Nate joined the team at Hazelton Injury Attorneys during his first summer of law school.  As a law clerk, he gained his first hands-on experience in the world of litigation.  Nate also clerked in the criminal appeals unit of the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office.  He wrote legal briefs to the Minnesota Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.

After law school, Nate returned to Hazelton Injury Attorneys as an associate attorney.  He is committed to helping injured people and their families.

Nate enjoys music, movies, and spending time with friends and family.  He also likes outdoor activities, especially snowboarding and fishing.
