Motorcycle Accident Wrongful Death
Death in motorcycle crash of single man. It is almost always assumed that the motorcycle is at fault in any accident. This case, that resulted in the death of a fine young man, was no exception. The police had the motorcycle going out of control and hitting car waiting at a stop sign to make a left turn. By securing the motorcycle and matching the abraisons to it with marks left on the highway and examing an identical car and extensive on the ground investigation of witnesses we were able to prove to everyone's satisfaction that the the car had in fact pulled into the intersection and that the loss of control of the motorcyle was actually a controlled intentional slide to attempt to avoid the collision. Despite the conention of the driver of the car it was proved that the car was backed up over 5 feet after the crash.
